Tausug is primarily spoken in parts of the Philippines, as well as in parts of Malaysia and Indonesia. It is a member of the Visayan branch of the Austronesian language family.
Tausug is written in a version of the Latin alphabet, similar to that of English. However, some Tausug texts may use special characters, such as ō, to indicate long vowels. If your Tausug lessons use these characters, you can type them by typing the base character for the letter you want, then selecting the special character from the set of characters which appears.
See Typing Accents and Special Characters for details on typing methods.
